AI transparency
This website was created with the help of artificial intelligence. Anyone who writes about marketing while working with AI should disclose it. Otherwise the claim "no bullshit" is just a line in the hero.
In short
- All the code behind this website was written with an AI assistant.
- All texts started as AI drafts based on researched sources and were editorially reviewed and approved before publication.
- The illustrations and the logo are AI-generated vector code, not image generator output.
- The portrait photograph is a real photograph by a human photographer. No image on this website is AI-generated.
- No AI runs in operation. The site is static HTML with no chatbot, no personalisation and no automated content.
Code: fully AI-assisted
HTML, CSS, build scripts and the PHP script behind the contact form were created using an AI assistant. The architecture, the technical decisions and all verification runs emerged from a dialogue between a human and an assistant system.
Professional responsibility for the code rests with the operator. Before publication, automated checks ran for accessibility, contrast, loading behaviour, broken links and structured data; the results are documented in the accessibility statement.
Text: AI draft, human responsibility
The texts on this website were drafted with AI support, based on researched sources: the existing imprint, the Digital Wings GmbH website, the staff page of St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, the Austrian company register, plus publicly accessible profiles and event organiser pages.
Two fixed rules applied to those drafts:
- No invented facts. Statements that cannot be verified through a publicly accessible source do not appear on this website.
- No invented references. The testimonials are verbatim, publicly verifiable Google reviews. No quote has been written, assembled or polished.
Every text was read, checked and approved by Ing. Florian Hieß, MSc before publication. Editorial responsibility under § 55 of the Austrian Media Act remains with him, not with the tool used.
Which tools are used
AI use does not stop at the chat window. Three decisions sit behind making the results reliable:
- Direct access to the actual specialist data. The premium tools already in daily use are connected via the Model Context Protocol, for ranking, visibility and competitive data, among others. The assistant argues from real numbers out of licensed sources rather than estimates from training data.
- A dedicated marketing knowledge system. A local marketing AI brain is being built and continuously refined: own analyses, project experience, definitions and working standards. The benefit is context. The system knows the way of working and does not need it explained from scratch every time.
- Licences that protect data. Where available, premium or business licences are used. Their terms rule out using submitted content to train the models. Free tiers generally do not offer this, which is why they are not used for working data.
Images: no AI generation
The portrait is a real photograph. It was taken by photographer David Johansson and shows Florian Hieß. It was neither AI-generated nor AI-altered; only cropping and file size were adjusted.
The illustrations. Skull, lightning bolt, star, boot, microphone, ink splatter. As well as the logo and favicon are hand-written SVG vector code produced with AI support. No image generator was used and no third-party works were processed as source material.
The social media preview image combines this design code with the real portrait photograph and was rendered in a browser.
In operation: no AI
This website is a purely static site made of pre-built HTML files. It contains:
- no chatbot and no AI assistant
- no automatically generated or personalised content
- no recommendation systems and no profiling
- no automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR
- no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts
The contact form works without AI too: spam protection is an additional field invisible to humans, not a classification model. Incoming messages are read and answered by a person.
Handling of AI crawlers
The content of this website may be read and cited by AI systems. The fact pages under /en/facts/ exist precisely so that answer engines use accurate information rather than guesswork.
The exception is pure training opt-outs: crawlers that collect training material only are excluded in the robots.txt. The distinction is deliberate. Being cited yes, serving as training material no.
AI in client work
This statement covers this website only. For consulting, speaking and training services, the following principles apply:
- AI tools are used where they demonstrably save time, for research, structuring and first drafts.
- Analyses, recommendations and decisions are owned by a human.
- On request, it is disclosed at which points of a project AI was involved.
- Client data is not entered into AI systems without explicit consent.
Why this page exists
Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act requires transparency where people interact with AI systems or consume AI-generated content. A personal website without AI features does not necessarily fall under it.
The disclosure happens anyway, for a simple reason: this website claims to do without empty promises. Anyone making that claim while concealing that the site was built with AI refutes themselves.
Questions or corrections
Questions about AI use, notes on unclear labelling or on a text that is factually wrong: hallo@florianhiess.at or via the contact form. Corrections are applied and the review date of this page updated accordingly.
