What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser in order to retain information between page views, for example login status, language settings, or an identifier used to recognise you across multiple visits.

Which cookies this website sets

None. This website is built as a purely static site: it consists of pre-built HTML files, one stylesheet, locally stored fonts and graphics. There are no user accounts, no shopping baskets and no personalised content that would require recognition.

Specifically, we do without:

• Statistics and analytics cookies: no Google Analytics, no Matomo
• Marketing and advertising cookies: no Meta pixel, no Google Ads remarketing, no DoubleClick
• Cookies from embedded content: no YouTube videos, no Google Maps, no social media plugins
• Convenience cookies: the DE/EN language choice works via separate addresses, not a stored setting

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 and Art. 6 GDPR is only required if a website stores information on your device or reads information from it that is not strictly necessary for operation. Since nothing is stored here, there would be nothing for you to consent to. A banner would be pure decoration.

What your browser stores anyway

Independently of cookies, your browser stores technical data on its own, for example in the cache: HTML files, the stylesheet, fonts and graphics are cached so the page loads faster next time. This data is purely technical, is not sent back to us, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

Server log files

When the page is accessed, technically necessary access data is recorded by the hosting provider. Independently of cookies. Details on what data this is and how long it is stored can be found in the privacy policy.

If you follow external links

As soon as you follow a link to an external site, for example to digitalwings.at or to a social network profile. The cookie and privacy terms of that provider apply. We have no influence over them.

Even though it is not necessary for this website: all common browsers let you decide in their settings whether and which cookies are accepted, and let you delete cookies that have already been stored. The relevant options are usually found under "Privacy and security".
